Safety checklist:
Safety rules can never be stressed enough when it comes to our own life, or to the lives of our loved ones. Many people risk not only their own life, but they risk the lives of many others as well. A safety checklist before driving a vehicle is one of the many ways in which we can improve safety.

Seat belts:
Check to make sure they are not damaged, or worn out. They should click into place properly.
•
Rearview mirrors:
Check to make sure that they are not damaged, and one can see them clearly.
•
Horn:
Check if it is working in proper order and is loud enough to be heard.
•
Headlights:
Check them in high beam and low beam mode to see if they are working fine.
•
Windshield wipers and fluid:
Check if they are working properly in order to avoid muddy and unclear windshields.
•
Turning indicators:
Check if the front and back indicators are in proper condition.
•Brakes:
Check if the stopping power is strong enough to stop suddenly.
•
Steering wheel:
Check if the wheel alignment is smooth and there are no steering obstacles.
•
Emergency brake:
Check if it works just in case it is required in an emergency.
•
Air and pressure of tires:
Check if they are not damaged, and are working properly. Carry a spare tire.
•
Taillights:
Check them for improved visibility to the vehicles behind you.
•
Brake lights:
Check for the purpose of warning people behind you.
•
Oil and cooling system:
Check if the necessary levels are met. Failure to do so can cause serious engine damage.

License plate light:
Check, so that it helps other people around you.
•
Intact windshield:
Check for the purpose of having better visibility.
