Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for life and all that it has to offer. It can be celebrated as a public holiday, or in private when we allow ourselves to reflect on how meaningful life really is. Life is meant for the living and we should all be gratefully giving thanks for life.

Ready for love
Two long years have passed us by, and I am still trying to figure out if I should laugh, or cry. We used to spend carefree days down by the river happily throwing frisbees until the sun went down. Now, I just stare at your photograph without knowing where you are , or if those haunting memories of the way we were will ever cease. As soul mates, we were able to comfort each other with a warm smile, and looked forward to seeing each other every day. Unfortunately things have changed between us, and I am very remorseful. Even so, breaking up is very hard to do, and since life goes on I am now ready to find real love again.

What a day
I awoke to the barking of the neighbourhood dogs barking outside my second floor window. Still half asleep, I glanced at the alarm clock on the night stand and it said 2:35am. I felt deeply annoyed because it was too early for me to start getting ready for work. The alarm clock usually goes off at 5:00am, and my shift as a manager begins at 7:00am, so I might as well try to get some sleep. As I was about to settle down again for a quick nap I heard a knock on my front door. Asking myself who could it be I grabbed my housecoat and headed downstairs to find out. I looked throught the peephole and saw that someone was hurt and needed help. I called 911 and told them to send an ambulance as soon as possible to my address. Within five minutes the paramedics came and took charge of the situation. They told me that the police was on their way to ask me some questions since I was the one who had called for help. Fully awake at this time, I decided to make some coffee and wait for the police to arrive. What a way to begin my day.

Be nice
There are too many drivers on the roads who refuses to drive responsibly. Remember to drive carefully so that you the driver as well as other drivers can reach to their destination safely. Share the road with others. Courtesy goes a long way.

Friends
True friends are always near
Real friends are most precious
And often very rare
Call on a friend who is always there
Friends for life will always show that they care.
A true friend would never hurt you
Turn their back on you nor desert you
They will always be there to
Comfort or to console you
Regardless of whatever the situation
That you are presently going through.

Blessed Love
Rastafar-I stands alone
Simply because I refuse to become
Babylon's puppet or a clone.
Shout outs to all Rasta
Too many false pretenders are in this business
Many of them use the rastas name
In order to find fortune and fame
They're enviously out to make a quick buck
Fools they are they're from the dead stock.
Beware of the wolves in sheep clothing
They continously deceive the poor
The needy, and the greedy.
Hear instruction and be wise
The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not want.
Ethiopia awaits only kingly characters
The King of all Kings
And the Lord of Lords
Shall deliver the rastas out of bondage.
Long live the king
His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie is the first
And the last King to remain standing upright.
A man is still just a man
Let righteousness cover the earth
Like the water covers the sea.
May peace and blessings manifest
Unto one and all.
