Specifically to the Toronto communities that are rightfully upset about having to take the bus until the completion of the Sheppard Subway Line. Even so, it is imperative that we support Mayor Rob Ford. He is reporting the truth about the future plans for the T.T.C.
Mayor Rob Ford has done a lot for the city thus far, and he should be commended for his efforts on a job well done. "Congratulations Mayor." As much as I would love to see the Jane St project get started, I am in agreement with you for the ten year proposal plan. First things first, and I am prepared to wait until better can be done.
We both know that you can only do so much, and I thank you for all that you have already done. Toronto, and Torontonians are equally blessed to have you as our leader. However, it is unfortunate that the stress of not being able to please everyone comes with the job. "Just relax and let it go." Easier said than done, but do not let anyone, or anything get you down. You are definitely the man in charge of this city, and you were officially elected by taxpayers to take care of business. "Do your thing."
Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for life and all that it has to offer. It can be celebrated as a public holiday, or in private when we allow ourselves to reflect on how meaningful life really is. Life is meant for the living and we should all be gratefully giving thanks for life.

Organize and Centralize
Assignment #1
During these economical times of growth and prosperity in the global market, it is recommended that food, clothes, and shelter be provided to all people without regards to class, colour, creed, or race. Without prejudice, every living person is entitled to the same benefits according to the universal laws of the land. Nonetheless, many citizens are still left homeless even when they live in the most coldest of climates, or in some cases the most deplorable living conditions ever imagined. To add insult to injury, the very same citizens are left to deal with their problems on their own and are still being blamed for it. "Who Cares." are the cries of the many victims.
Unfortunately these problems have been affecting too many people in varied
communities for far too long that it must now be addressed worldwide. It can no longer be ignored, nor tolerated. Charity begins at home, and I am appealing to all politicians, and government workers alike to do their own homework before criticizing the lives of others who are less fortunate than they are.
This is a job for people to fix, or mend, and I do not hold one person, or administration responsible. Collectively speaking, too err is human. As human beings we do have the responsibiliy of taking care of ourselves and each other without using the blame, or the race card to inflict painful injuries on another fellow human being. These practices must cease to exist in order to make this world a better place for us all to live in. Now is the time for us to wake up and live a more productive life, and remember to
do good over the choices of evil. "Good, better, best, never let it rest until your good is better, and your better best." Can we do the right thing? ... "Yes we can."

The King and I
The lion is the king of the jungle. Even at 360degrees he still holds the right angle. The most fierciest lamb of them all, the lion roars whenever he hears his offspring call. The lion and I cannot be mangled, our hair is different, and it is naturally tangled.
Never try to kill a lion. Only then shall he decide to take prey. Like all birds of one feather that automatically flocks together, the lion and the lioness shall instinctively lay down beside each other.
The lion is a very special friend of mine. He means more to me than all the silver and gold combine. So precious is he, I can proudly say that he wears my crown always and forever. Majestic and brave, powerful and mighty, these are reasons enough as to why diamonds would always be considered to be the girls best friend.

Firing the Boss
The staff was sent home at noon, so my friend Brian and I decided to have a coffee at the local coffee shop where we can have a place to sit, and talk about the office politics at work.
At the coffee shop, we found a table for two in a quite area, and ordered our drinks. We started to chat like old friends do when I straight out asked him what happened to the boss?
I found out that our boss for the past three years got fired for sleeping with another employee who works at a different department. He was able to keep this from his superiors, but his girlfriend found out that he was also having an affair with the secretary, and decided to have her revenge. She told everyone about it via emails.
For this reason the secretary quit her job, the boss got fired, and the employee from a different department is now on maternity leave. Despite the drama, and all that has happened within the company, upper management still continues to operate a successful business. Luckily there are temporary agencies.
Two hours into our conversation, my friend Brian and I came to one valid conclusion. As difficult as it is to be in top-level management, neither one of us wants to walk in the shoes of the General Manager.

Earthquake an Tsunami Japan
While Haiti and New Zealand both have been hit by catastrophic earthquakes, an even worse disaster struck Japan. My prayers and sympathy reaches out to Japan and the Japanese community. During this time of need, it is very important to know that Google is hosting an international online database for victims of the earthquake and tsunami. Since the country faces a "State of Emergency" and many people are without communication, the best that I can do to help is to spread the word, and hope that someone else is comforted by it. There are two databases set up to help find a missing person, or loved ones.(1) I am looking for someone. (2) I have information about someone. With so many catastrophes happening around the world, I hope and pray that God gives us the strength to help others who are less fortunate than we are.

Libya in the news
Terror reigns throughout North Africa, and the Middle East,
Civilians battle for internal peace.
How long before the bloodshed cease?
How long before the rising toll of the dead decrease?
A nation divided is about to fall,
And feelings of uncertainty scares us all.

The birthday party
I can think of better ways to spend my weekend, but here I am volunteering to host a party for a co-worker who has always been there for me whenever I needed her. Barb had broken her arm when she slipped and fell on a patch of ice during a snowstorm. She could no longer afford to supervise the birthday party for a group of fifteen (eight year olds) as planned. Feeling obligated, I volunteered to help the Social Committee by offering to become the new hostess. The party was to be held in two days, on a Saturday between the hours of 2pm - 6pm. No problem I told myself as I prepared to decorate the party room the night before. With lots of helpers, we were able to decorate the party rooms in quality time, and felt really good about the results when we were finished. I completed some last minute shopping the following day, and reached the party room an hour before the guests arrived. By 2pm most everyone was accounted for, and the children and I played games until the others showed up. By then it was time to sing happy birthday, cut the cake, and open the gifts. We all had lots of fun, and by the time the parents came to pick up the children no one wanted to leave. Everything went well, and I even had some of the parents help out with the after party clean up. The children were well behaved, and the parents were real decent. If I had a chance to do it all over again, I would do it without hesitation.
